Dr M: Govt has full power to curb Covid-19, no need emergency

An emergency declaration is unnecessary as the government has the full power to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic, former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said today.

Unlike Western countries, he said, people in this country adhere to the standard operating procedures as outlined by the government.
