PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
- Bandaraya LRT station, Kuala Lumpur
Prasarana Bhd said that an LRT station officer attached to its Bandaraya station has tested positive for Covid-19 on Dec 24. The employee last came to work on Dec 19.
The officer did not have contact with passengers while on duty, it said in a statement today.
Rapid Rail, which is the operator for Prasarana's LRT network, has carried out disinfection and cleaning works at the officer's workplace.
RESIDENCES
- Sri Desa Condominium, Jalan Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur
A resident at Level 7 of Block 1 has contracted Covid-19, a management notice said today.
It stated that necessary measures have been taken including disinfecting possible contaminated areas, and offering assistance to occupants at the unit to minimise risk to other residents.
- Pavilion Hilltop Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur
A resident at Block A has tested positive for Covid-19, said an apartment management notice.
Following this, they have arranged for sanitisation and disinfection works at affected common areas including elevators and lobbies.
- Suria Apartment, Kepong Industrial Park, Kuala Lumpur
According to the Kepong DAP branch, a resident here tested positive for Covid-19.
It posted on Facebook a notice by the apartment management, dated Dec 24, saying that the resident lives on the 16th floor of Block D. Other occupants of the unit have also been tested and placed under quarantine.
The management added they will conduct sanitisation at all common areas of the block.
- Rumah Awam Bukit Batu, Kulai, Johor
The Kulai District Health Office said a positive Covid-19 case was recorded at this housing area yesterday (Dec 25).
It is the only active case there currently.
- Taman Sena, Kulai, Johor
Two positive cases were recorded at this housing area as of yesterday, according to statistics released by the Kulai District Health Office.
- Desa Satu Apartment, Desa Aman Puri Kepong, Kuala Lumpur
A tenant at Block 2 was tested positive for Covid-19 and had since been taken to hospital, said a notice issued by its management office.
The notice was shared by the Kepong DAP office today.
All residents were advised to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) by wearing a face mask when in common areas, wash their hands from time to time, and maintain physical distancing.
- Aman Puri Apartment, Desa Aman Puri Kepong, Kuala Lumpur
Two members of a family living in Block C have been tested positive for Covid-19, according to a notice issued by the management.
It is learned that the notice was sent out to all residents through their Whatsapp group on Thursday (Dec 24).
SPORTS AND RECREATION FACILITIES
- Royal Selangor Golf Club
The Royal Selangor Golf Club (RSGC) recorded another positive Covid-19 case today, according to a report by the MalayMail.
Quoting a club notice that it sighted, the report said that the member had played golf there on Dec 20. This is the ninth positive case reported at the facility.
The club in its notice listed the said member's movement at the club for that day, and urged others who were there on the date and time to get themselves tested should they feel they are at risk.
BUSINESSES
- Mikro Cafe Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur
The management of this boutique cafe posted on Instagram last night that two of its assistants have been tested positive for Covid-19.
They advised those who have come as close contacts at the cafe between Dec 19 and Dec 24, 2020, to get themselves tested for the virus, and apologised for the unforeseen circumstances.
The cafe would undergo sanitation tomorrow, during which it will be closed.
PRISON AND DETENTION CENTRES
- Bentong Prison Complex, Bentong, Pahang
The Health Ministry today announced a new Covid-19 cluster named as the Pagar Bentong Cluster, first detected on Dec 5 during a screening activity for detainees.
Malaysiakini learned that this cluster involves the Bentong Prison Complex, which is located in Felda Mempaga.
As of today, 13 positive cases have been detected under this cluster, from 79 individuals tested for the virus.
