MCMC hails suspension of parody Twitter account 'BermanaTV'

The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has hailed the suspension of the "BermanaTV" parody account (@Bermanadotcon) by Twitter after it was found to be in violation of the community standards set by the social media platform.

MCMC stated that the displays on the account have often confused the public as the parody resembles the name of national news agency Bernama.
