Govt withdraws bill to set two-term limit for PM's post
PARLIAMENT | The Perikatan Nasional government has withdrawn a bill to amend the Federal Constitution, in order to set a two-term limit for the prime minister's post.
De facto Law Minister Takiyuddin Hassan (above) made the move in the Dewan Rakyat today, as per the government's powers under the Standing Orders to withdraw bills.
