'We don't care about your political spats, but don't ratify CPTPP' - MTUC to govt

The Malaysian Trade Union Congress (MTUC) has urged the government not to endorse the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) as it lacks protection for worker rights and may result in the removal of existing protections.

“MTUC strongly calls on the government not to endorse the ratification of the CPTPP, irrespective of whatever position the previous administration had taken on the free trade agreement.
