Najib files appeal against jail term, fine in SRC International corruption case
Najib Abdul Razak has filed an appeal against his 12-year jail sentence and RM210 million fine conviction in the RM42 million SRC International corruption case.
The former prime minister, through law firm Shafee & Co, filed the notice of appeal at the Kuala Lumpur High Court and forwarded a copy to the Court of Appeal at around 2 pm this afternoon.
