Racial tensions: Govt prefers to mediate rather than 'teach' with laws
PARLIAMENT | The government prefers to deal with racial tensions using a soft approach to mediate, rather than "educating" through the law.
National Unity Minister Halimah Mohamed Sadique said there are various laws that can be used to deal with those who intentionally cause racial provocation, regardless of whether they are politicians or members of the public.
