Youth group urges govt to stick with local govt elections move

Youth group Undi Saksama has lauded the proposal by the government to restore local council elections saying that it is an important platform to increase youth representation in politics and empower local communities.

"We appreciate the firm stance taken by Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin against opposition towards the proposal expressed by several parliamentarians.
