Covid-19: 4 new cases, all involving Malaysians
CORONAVIRUS | There were four new cases of Covid-19 infections detected in Malaysia over the past 24-hours ending noon today. All cases involved Malaysians.
Three of them were Malaysians returning from abroad. Of the three, one resides in Kelantan while two are in Selangor.
The fourth case involved a Malaysian who was hospitalised in Johor. The patient was found to be Covid-19 positive after being diagnosed with a severe respiratory infection.
The total number of people being treated for Covid-19 stood at 208, with two individuals currently requiring intensive care. There were no new deaths attributed to the virus during the reported period.
Meanwhile, another 40 people were discharged after being treated for Covid-19, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 8,271 (96.17 percent recovery rate).
