Mongolian Consulate appreciates calls for transparency in cases involving its citizens
The Mongolian Consulate has expressed its appreciation over calls by non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and others for transparency in the authorities’ handling of the rape case involving two Mongolian women and the holding of three other Mongolian nationals under an Interim Protection Order (IPO).
In a media statement by law firm Thomas Philip today, Mongolian Consul Reynolds Augustine conveyed his gratitude to NGOs, political parties, the law firm, the authorities, and Malaysians over the calls for transparency in the rape case that allegedly involved a police inspector, and the IPO against three Mongolian women who allegedly raised the alarm over the incident....
