One-day Parliament sitting will disrupt checks and balances - DAP MP
DAP vice-chairperson M Kulasegaran has proposed that the government convene an urgent virtual Dewan Rakyat sitting as an alternative to reducing the May 18 session to one single day of proceedings.
The Ipoh Barat MP said such a practice in a time when governments are waging war against the Covid-19 outbreak has already been adopted by legislatures in Albania, Colombia, Brazil, and the Maldives....
