MOH mulls allowing residents associations to guard communities against Covid-19

CORONAVIRUS | The Health Ministry is looking into empowering residents associations to protect their community from Covid-19 infection risks.

According to Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, this was similar to the model of longhouses in Sarawak where community leaders had managed to prevent the spread of the virus by blocking high-risk people from entering the area.
