Covid-19 death toll rises to 10, and 5 news from yesterday

1. The death toll from Covid-19 rose to 10, with total cases at 1,306.

2. Authorities nabbed a group of tabligh members who attended a session in Indonesia (photo, above) trying to sneak back into Sabah.

The Health Ministry said it believes the Covid-19 outbreak among the tabligh members in Kuala Lumpur late last month may have been imported.

3. Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Malaysia is currently moving towards the fourth phase - mitigation - for Covid-19.

4. The Health Ministry advised those returning home from grocery shopping or buying food to shower immediately, before interacting with their family members.
