Malaysian woman recovers from Covid-19
CORONAVIRUS | A Malaysian woman, 40, is the latest patient to recover from the Covid-19 infection.
This brings the total number of recoveries in Malaysia to 18.
Four other patients are still being treated in hospitals for Covid-19 and are in stable condition, according to the Health Ministry.
The woman (photo) was the 13th confirmed case of Covid-19 in Malaysia and was diagnosed on Feb 5.
She was treated at the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital in Kedah.
At the time of writing, Covid-19 had infected 78,724 people worldwide, mostly in China.
There have been 2,462 deaths attributed to the virus, of which 20 occurred outside of China.
The World Health Organisation had declared a global public health emergency following the spread of the virus.
