IGP: Counter-terrorism man given chance to gain new experience as Johor chief

It's time for Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay to move out from the Federal Counter-Terrorism Department as he has been in this position for too long, says Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador.

Hamid was asked to comment on Ayob's (photo) transfer from his position as the Bukit Aman Special Branch Counter-Terrorism Division (E8) head to become Johor police chief, effective March 6.
