LTTE-linked detainees: Police have submitted investigation to AGC, up to AG now
The police have submitted their investigations papers to the Attorney-General’s Chambers on those detained under Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 over purported links to the defunct Sri Lankan rebel group Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).
Bukit Aman’s Special Branch Counter-Terrorism Division principal assistant director Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said it is now up to the attorney-general whether to charge those detained or to release them.
