Ramasamy wants Waytha to hold town hall session on Indian funding
Penang Deputy Chief Minister II P Ramasamy said Minister in the Prime Minister's Department P Waythamoorthy should hold a town hall session to explain how the RM100 million funding under Budget 2019 is benefitting the Indian community.
The DAP assemblyperson said merely publishing figures about how money is spent was insufficient.
Ramasamy said this in response to Waythamoorthy, who said all funding provided through the Malaysian Indian Transformation Unit (Mitra) was already published online and Ramasamy should reach out to him personally instead of publicly accusing him of not being transparent...
