RON97 price to plunge 22 sen, other fuels unchanged

RON97 will cost 22 sen less in the coming week at RM2.41 per litre.

Prices remain capped for RON95 at RM2.08 per litre and diesel at RM2.18 per litre.

In a statement today, Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng explained that the drop in RON97 prices was due to lower average prices for brent crude oil.

The actual price for RON95, according to the government's automatic pricing mechanism (APM), was RM2.11 per litre and for diesel, RM2.19.
