Selangor ruler confers 'Datin Paduka Setia' title on consort
Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah of Selangor today conferred the Datuk Setia Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah (SSIS) (First Class) award, which carries the title 'Datin Paduka Setia' on his consort, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin.
Sultan Sharafuddin presented the award at a ceremony at Istana Bukit Kayangan in Shah Alam.
Also at the ceremony, the sultan presented the instrument of appointment of Bentara Raja to a member of the Selangor royal household, Tengku Ezrique Ezzuddean Tengku Ardy Esfandiari Alhaj.
Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin was present at the ceremony. Also present were members of the Selangor royalty and Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari.
Also at the ceremony, Sultan Sharafuddin presented the instruments of appointment of Selangor Syariah Appeals Court judge to Mohd Radzi Abd Latif, and Jasri Nasip Mat Jakir, in accordance with subsection 57(1) of the Administration of the Religion of Islam (State of Selangor) Enactment 2003, effective May 9 this year.
The sultan also presented the instruments of appointment of Selangor Syariah Subordinate Court judge to three people, namely Nadiah Khamis, Mohd Faizal Habib, and Muhammad Mujahid Ahmad, also effective May 9.
He also presented the instruments of appointment of Selangor Syariah Subordinate Court assistant registrar to six people and Selangor Marriage, Divorce and Revocation assistant registrar to seven people, also effective May 9.
