LETTER | A special Malaysia Day poem

LETTER | Malaysia is truly a unique nation,
Its independence crafted with great caution,
By past leaders who had sincere intention,
To bring freedom and prosperity to people from all stations.

Malaysia Madani’s goal is to be a civilised nation,
With different races living together in harmonious relation,
Practising respect, trust, and compassion,
Achieving prosperity with sustainability through innovation.

Like any nation, it has its moments of tension.
As always, leaders from all races will work out the situation,
With wisdom, responsibility, and accommodation,
Tackling problems together with effective resolution.

Madani Malaysia is about restoring the dignity of our nation,
Nurturing Malaysians with tolerance and patience,
Adopting inclusiveness with determination,
Restoring Malaysia's right to be known as a prosperous nation.

As a Malaysian, I express with great elation,
The pride of many achievements of this nation:
Our peace, prosperity, and progress have won much admiration.
May I share with all Malaysians this great sense of appreciation.
