LETTER | Welcome back, Rafizi Ramli

LETTER | A few moments ago, PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli has announced his intention to be active again in the political arena, making the first step by offering himself to run for the deputy president in the party election.

This announcement was eagerly awaited by all his supporters, inside and outside the party. Our friendship extends beyond the political world. Thank you, my friend, Rafizi, for believing in this friendship.

I am one of the few friends who have interacted and communicated with him since Dec 10, 2019, which is the date of his announcement to take a leave from the political arena. During this period, despite talking less about politics, he was very comfortable discussing the problems of ordinary people.

Therefore, I am confident that he will return because Rafizi is a person with a people's spirit and understands the suffering of ordinary people.

Prior to the 14th general election on May 9, 2018, Rafizi was the mainstay in bringing about the changes through the 'Jelajah Bina Semula Negara'. His campaign strategy was very instrumental in the history of toppling the BN regime.

Today, he made a historic announcement of his arrival at a much crucial and critical moment, when he is needed the most by the people of Malaysia. His charisma and principles to help the people will begin to change the political landscape in the country.

With his return at a critical time, a chance to fight for the people's issues and solve the people's problems is very much needed. The aura of Rafizi will bring a new shine for Malaysians.

I hope that with Rafizi’s arrival, a new political pattern and the revival of PKR in the effort to save Malaysia will begin.
