Sex-related issues rock Malaysia like never before

LETTER | Sex scandals seem to be the only thing that has any traction in Malaysia lately.

From moral policing to hit squads that prey on couples in dark corners, and private rooms to scandalous secret video filming. You name it, we have it.

Add to the list is the under-aged marriage controversy. Malaysians also get all rilled up over tattoos, short skirts and aurat-related issues.

Sex is a cornerstone of many current discussions just as much as alleged sex scandals involving politicians.

PKR gingerly edges to its annual general meeting this week but we now hear yet another alleged scandal involving their leader.

However, in light of these issues, we should challenge our moralities and ask ourselves pertinent questions.

Are we on a highway of sorts to produce the world's most populace living, walking saints?

Or are we also on track to be the first nation in the world to stagnate because of sexual immoralities?

Oh God, what is so sickly wrong with Malaysians?
