Thank you, Royal Malaysian Police!
LETTER | Malaysians have been very critical of the Royal Malaysian Police Force in recent years.
However, we forget to appreciate and commend the police especially when it comes to the efforts taken in maintaining the continued peace and harmony in our beloved country Malaysia.
After reading the headlines in almost all news portals and newspapers today about the splendid efforts of the Royal Malaysian Police Force who apprehended four men who were planning terror attacks and assassinations in Malaysia in the Muslim holy fasting month of Ramadan, I would like to be the first amongst many Malaysians to sincerely commend and thank the inspector-general of police and the Royal Malaysian Police Force (PDRM) for their fast and swift action which has indeed helped to prevent the loss of life and maintain peace and harmony in this country.
We are very thankful that the suspects who were planning these terror attacks have been apprehended and are presently in police custody.
We also hope that the remaining suspects still at large are quickly arrested. We hope that PDRM will continue to step up their efforts to ensure that peace and security prevail in our beloved country Malaysia.
I wish to once again appreciate and commend the new inspector-general of police and PDRM for their noble efforts. Thank you and keep up your good work.
