Then again, when do we not have intense political debates?

The state of our local moving image and filmmaking ecosystem is of concern, as seen through the occasional parliamentary questions, controversies around censorship, and the compassionate visits by top officials to sick and afflicted industry veterans in dire straits.

There needs to be an intentional discussion over how we can develop our film ecosystem...
