COMMENT | No point in 'sumpah laknat' when facts show otherwise

COMMENT | We are witnessing what can only be described as tumultuous political developments in our nation. It seems some with power feel that they can do as they please.

Now, we have convicted individuals performing the sumpah laknat (religious oath) and even got others to pray for them in mosques. 

They are even hurling criticism against the judiciary and judicial processes, showing their inability to accept facts.

And the individual’s supporters are offering utmost loyalty to the former, so much so that they have become blinded to the facts presented.

Whatever the case, truth and justice must prevail. The nation cannot be held to ransom by those who perpetuate abuses and misdeeds.
