"Kasihi Autism Bersama Champs" an initiative to support the Malaysian autism community

Recognizing the importance of supporting the Malaysian autism community, CHAMPS, a leading brand of children's health supplements, continues its commitment by supporting the National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM) through the “Kasihi Autisme Bersama Champs” campaign series.

The campaign, now in its sixth year, will raise funds to help and support the Malaysian autism community through the National Autism Association of Malaysia (NASOM).

You are able to contribute to the Malaysian autism community with every purchase of the Vitamin C CHAMPS promotional pack

The campaign raises funds through its vitamin C network promotional pack, where every purchase of the Champs Vitamin C promotional pack, RM1.00 will be donated to the National Autism Association of Malaysia (NASOM).

The campaign was introduced across all retail channels during the campaign period from April 2022 to June 2022.

CHAMPS is a well-known brand of children's health supplements under the portfolio of Duopharma Consumer Healthcare Sdn. Bhd. has started collaborating with NASOM since 2016.

This collaboration aims to increase public awareness and acceptance of autistic children among Malaysians.

CHAMPS has contributed RM351,107.50 since 2016 to NASOM

Overall, Champs managed to raise a total of RM351,107.50 over the past year and donated to NASOM.

Champs continues to be a well-loved brand in Malaysia, supporting the nutritional well-being of children for 40 years. The CHAMPS-NASOM corporate social responsibility (CSR) awareness campaign will also be expanded with other collaborations.

Customers can get hand-painted artwork by autism children to show your support and love to these children

Each child is different and autism children are even more so. Art has been shown to be a highly positive intervention tool for children with autism. It is a pathway for them to express their feelings and impressions of the world.

Over 200 pieces of hand painted art created by autistic children were displayed as part of this year's fundraiser in support of NASOM's services and programmes.

The art pieces by NASOM’s autism children will be available for sale on www.dbhealth2go.com   starting 1st April 2022 to 30th June 2022 with a price range between RM300 to RM700 each.

Ashley Chuah, a pouring artist from Penang, has also joined hands in this campaign. She supports the Champs-NASOM collaboration to raise autism awareness and graciously would donate 50% of the proceeds from the sales of her art pieces to NASOM.

The sale of art paintings is open to corporate companies and the general public where all proceeds from the sale will be used by NASOM for the purpose of improving the quality of life of people with autism and their families.

It includes through programs, services, resources, social knowledge and innovation, as well as promoting the rights and opportunities for people with autism.
