First-Ever Walk-A-Breakfasthon - Seniors & Families To Walk in Celebration of the International Day of Older Persons and World Heart Day!

Amazing Seniors is thrilled to announce the inaugural Walk-A-Breakfasthon, an exciting community event designed to encourage active lifestyles among seniors and their families. The event will be held on Sunday, 29 September 2024 at Tropicana Gardens Mall, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, in conjunction with the International Day of Older Persons and World Heart Day.

Supported by Kementerian Belia & Sukan and the team from the Malaysian Women Marathon, the Walk-A-Breakfasthon is the first event of its kind, offering participants the choice of a 3km or 5km walk with food and drink stations along the route to keep everyone energized. This event is more than just a walk; it’s a celebration of health, community, and the joys of staying active at any age.

Adding to the significance of the event, the Minister of Youth & Sports, YB Hannah Yeoh will be in attendance to flag off the event, underscoring the importance of promoting healthy lifestyles among older adults in Malaysia. Additionally, the walk is also part of the Amazing Seniors Festival, Life Begins at 50 happening from 27-29 September at Tropicana Gardens Mall. Now in its third year, the Amazing Seniors Festival has become a hit among seniors and their families, featuring entertainment, senior-related talks, and exhibitors focused on aging. It’s a fun and enriching event for all ages!
