KOPETRO organise Majlis Aidilfitri Melaka

MELAKA, 17 May 2023 - Koperasi Kakitangan PETRONAS Berhad (KOPETRO) celebrates this year’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri at Puteri Qashrina Chalet in Pantai Puteri yesterday with the theme ‘Raya Bersama’. The event concluded their Majlis Aidilfitri ‘Raya Bersama’ series in celebrating the members and partners of the cooperative.

KOPETRO Chairman, Roslan Abdul Rahim said the main purpose of the Majlis Aidilfitri is to strengthen the fraternity and togetherness amongst cooperation management with the members of KOPETRO in Melaka while enlivening the spirit of Aidilfitri celebration this year.

“With this year's theme of ‘Raya Bersama’, KOPETRO aims to embed the community spirit by welcoming equality, celebrating diversity and appreciating the difference amongst us,” said KOPETRO Chairman during the celebration ceremony.

Furthermore, by having programs as such is one of the many ways for the management to attract more PETRONAS personnel to register and become a member of KOPETRO.

Majlis Aidilfitri KOPETRO in Melaka was held from 12 noon until 4 pm, and attended by more than 300 guest which consist of KOPETRO members and partners, guests were served with various Aidilfitri festive dishes and local menus such as Nasi Impit, Lemang, Rendang Ayam, and Nasi Hujan Panas with Ayam Masak Merah.

Majlis Aidilfitri Raya Besama KOPETRO has also been held in other locations which were Kertih on 9 May 2023, Kuala Lumpur on 11 May 2023, and in Bangi, Selangor where the celebration of Hari Raya was in conjunction with the launch of the second branch of shariah compliant pawning service, ArRahnuKita, on 12 May 2023.
