Lalamove Complements On-The-Road Delivery Experience For Delivery Partners With Its First Free Vehicle Maintenance Workshop

KUALA LUMPUR - Lalamove, the leading on-demand delivery platform, is proud to announce its latest initiative - a series of free vehicle maintenance workshops aimed at providing knowledge and skills to its delivery partners and public. The first workshop was successfully held on February 25 at Lalamove Driver Centre in Kinrara.

The workshop featured guest speakers from leading automotive brands, including Bridgestone, Liqui Moly, and Autohaus KL, who shared their expertise on basic vehicle maintenance, tyre quality, and engine oil change. Participants were intrigued to learn from the best and gain practical knowledge that can help them maintain their vehicles effectively and efficiently.

Lalamove Malaysia’s Managing Director, Jane Teh, said the workshop is important for Lalamove delivery partners and the public to have the necessary skills to keep their vehicles in top shape.

"Vehicle maintenance is crucial, not only for our safety but also for the longevity of our vehicles. To be equipped with basic vehicle maintenance skills means to reduce the chances of breakdowns and costly repairs," she added.

According to one of the participants, Nasaruddin, the workshop gave him valuable information on cleaning vehicle engines and choosing the right products to use for his vehicle. “As a Lorry driver, it’s important for me to maintain my vehicle to reduce unnecessary maintenance costs. The speakers shared with us useful vehicle maintenance tips that are beneficial for my job as a full-time Lalamove delivery partner,” he quoted.

Meanwhile, another participant, Arvin, said the workshop not only provided him with knowledge of basic vehicle care but also gave him interesting insights into the benefits offered by Lalamove towards its delivery partners. “I was recommended by a friend to join this workshop as I’m looking for a part-time job. I was surprised to learn that Lalamove provides various benefits like this free workshop to their delivery partners. For me, that’s a plus point for Lalamove,” he added.

Lalamove looks forward to organising more free vehicle maintenance workshops for all interested participants. The next workshop is expected to happen on Wednesday, 29th March 2023 at Lalamove Driver Centre, Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru. Participants may anticipate tips and tricks to maintain their vehicles in great condition and to prevent major repair costs from automotive experts.
