SNC appoints seasoned corporate leaders and entrepreneur as directors

Sand Nisko Capital Bhd (“SNC” or “Group” or “Company”) has appointed three seasoned corporate leaders into its Board of Directors in its push for innovation going forward. 

The Group has appointed Dato’ Goh Soo Wee and Lee Ping Wei as the Group’s Executive Director, while Teh Kok Liang is appointed as the Non-Independent Director. 

Dato’ Goh Soo Wee is a well-known corporate leader and holds several directorships in several other companies, namely, MXPRESS Sdn Bhd and PALMARA Sdn Bhd. He has a strong track record in the automotive industry given his years working with dealership and international commercial brands distributorships in Malaysia. Aside from that, he also has strong experience in the property development and also capital market business.

His entrepreneurship and leadership were recognized when Dato’ Goh was voted as the 100 Most Influential Young Entrepreneur in 2017. His expertise in various industries and wide networks could help to drive SNC forward. 

In the statement, the Company said: “The Management welcomes the appointment of Dato’ Goh, and we are excited to have someone with his experience and leadership to drive the Company forward. We look forward to working together in leading the Group to the next phase of success.”

Meanwhile, Lee Ping Wei, a seasoned corporate leader with an entrepreneurial background, joined as the Group’s Executive Director. Lee was the founder and director of a renewable energy company, which has successfully embarked on many prominent projects in Malaysia. 

He brings with him a solid background in corporate finance to ensure appropriate proposals were implemented for the Company.

Teh’s appointment as the Non-Independent Director along with Dato’ Goh and Lee will help to push SNC forward.
