Asia Mobiliti launches Secure Freight, a telematics-backed smart access management solution

Kuala Lumpur, May 7th, 2021: Asia Mobiliti today announced the commercial availability of Secure Freight, its latest IoT-powered solution for the logistics industry. The solution integrates Asia Mobiliti’s IoT and telematics platform with igloohome’s Smart Padlock product, enabling location-aware and time-sensitive access management for goods in transit. This innovative integration of vehicle tracking and keyless smart locks allow freight owners and logistics operators to grant keyless access to goods in a freight vehicle based on geolocation, solving the long-standing problem of theft and tampering of goods during transit.

The solution involves the use of Asia Mobiliti’s IoT device for vehicle telematics, managed on its IoT cloud that is integrated with igloohome’s enterprise API. This provides for the generation of the Smart Padlock’s proprietary algoPIN™ access codes remotely and automatically with geofencing rules. The IoT cloud delivers the access codes via Telegram chat messaging to authorized personnel to unlock and access the freight.

Secure Freight is the latest solution built upon Asia Mobiliti’s IoT and telematics platform. Other solutions include Transit Connect for the public transit sector, Vehicle Sense that provides vehicle condition monitoring for usage-based insurance and preventive maintenance services, and Track & Trace for seamless integration with supply chain monitoring and enterprise systems for product tracing and tracking capabilities.
